Accounting Internship
Things you will be doing:
- Participate in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Participate in the monthly close consolidation function, which includes reviewing/reconciling intercompany transactions and imbalances
- Perform accounting research to support current and future business transactions and documenting conclusions
- Assist in the maintenance and future rollouts of the current external reporting tool (i.e. Workiva)
- Assist in various process improvement special projects focused on accounting/financial reporting
You will need:
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated and comfortable with ambiguity
- Familiarity with using accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, other) is advantageous
