Hospitality Intern

JOB TITLE:   Hospitality Management Intern
REPORTS TO:  Clubhouse Manager
TYPE OF POSITION:  College Internship, Hospitality/Meeting & Event Management
The Spring Lake Country Club is seeking a Spring through Fall Hospitality Management Intern. Ideally Candidates will be available from Mid-February through September. An hourly schedule will be produced weekly by the Clubhouse Manager, which will include daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
We are looking for someone who can assist our Clubhouse Manager with the following:
- Assist in Dining Room Management Duties
- Assist in Event Management Duties
- Event set up/tear down of events
- Assist in food & beverage service of events and member dining
- Opening & closing duties related to events and member dining
SKILLS:
 Intern must demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be a self- starter, thrive in a leadership role, display excellent customer services and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
This internship runs from Mid-February 2021 – September 2021. Start and end dates are negotiable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College student studying hospitality, foodservice management or event management.
- Must have 2 years foodservice/hospitality experience
- Must have stellar communication and customer service skills and attention to detail
