Interfaith Campus Intern
The Interfaith Campus Intern will act as the GVSU representative to the Kaufman Interfaith Institute’s inter-institutional interfaith programming, as well as support on-campus interfaith efforts. All efforts will reflect GVSU’s values of inclusiveness and community and the Division of Inclusion & Equity’s commitment to social justice.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting in organizing interfaith programs with the Kaufman Interfaith Institute
· Collaborating with internal campus partners, such as the Interfaith Ambassadors, to further interfaith within GVSU
· Collaborating with partnered schools: Aquinas College, Calvin College, Hope College
· Promoting & attending interfaith programming on campus
· Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
· Organizational skills to help coordinate, promote, and host programs
· Self-motivated and independent worker
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to create promotional materials
· Personal commitment to interfaith dialogue and cooperation
