Cardio Drumming Instructor
The City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation department is seeking a part-time Cardio Drumming Instructor. The Instructor responsibilities include the following:
- Leads participants in group fitness classes.
- Demonstrates correct form, posture, and alignment.
- Provides encouragement and motivation to participants.
- Follows safety standards.
- Exhibits dependability and punctuality.
- Maintains attendance records and applicable forms.
- Responsible for all equipment and supplies.
Qualified applicants will have the following:
- At least 18 years of age or older;
- Have a high school diploma/GED;
- One year of experience instructing a cardio drumming fitness class; and
- a fitness certification.
This is a part-time position. Instructors typically work 1 -5 hours per week, classes are 45-60 minutes long each. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings. The pay range for this position is $12.00 - $14.00 per hour. For more details, please see the full Job Description.
