Student Employment Specialist

The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Student Employment Specialist
New Student Programming
The Student Employment Specialist will be responsible for having specialized knowledge of non-exempt student employment policies and processes on campus, reviewing and developing student employment policies and processes, and ensuring compliance at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Additionally, this position will provide consultation on student employment for supervisors and students, both domestic and international students, on campus. This position will also create and lead training opportunities for professional and student staff, as well as develop and implement an intentional student employment program in support of student development when engaging in the student employment process at UNO. This position will conduct thorough assessments of student employment on campus and will also work in support of the department of NSFP within the Division of Student Success.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (completed) in Social Sciences, Human Resources, and/or Higher Education.
Salary Information: Commensurate with Experience
