Social Work – Mobile Crisis Specialist- 2nd shift

Network180 Children’s Mobile Crisis team is expanding to serve adult clients. We are seeking applicants for multiple full-time Specialist positions. This position provides intervention services as a member of a community-based crisis response team serving both adults and families in Kent County. Hours: 3pm – 11pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Licensed in the State of Michigan as a licensed or limited licensed bachelor’s social worker
  • One-year experience in community-based crisis intervention
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
  • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
  • Available for on-call services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on a rotating basis)
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
  • Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed bachelor’s social worker
  • Three years post undergraduate experience
  • Spanish speaking
