Part-Time Dietetic Technician - Charlotte, NC

Nutritious Lifestyles is actively hiring for a Part-Time Registered Dietetic Technician (flexible work hours) in the Charlotte, NC area with multiple Long-Term Care Facilities! We are searching for a candidate who is excited to grow and learn new skills under the supervision of a skilled dietitian. ***We offer a unique complimentary LDN Program for this opening! This is an opportunity to gain internship hours that will both help facilitate you to practice as a independent licensed dietitian and increase your opportunity to get into an accredited internship if you so desire.***


What You Can Expect Working at Our Facility:
  • In-depth training between multiple facilities in the Charlotte, NC area.
  • The ability to provide long-term care through tailored patient education.
  • Build long-term relationships and growth with clients and staff.

  • Ability to choose your schedule M-F (Up to 26 hours per week).


What You'll be Doing Under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian in a Long Term Care Facility:
  • Perform Admission and High-Risk Assessment, as well as QA Food Service Audits.
  • Perform MDS, care plans, schedule case, etc. at facilities.
  • Meeting with staff for recommendations or processing information.
  • Survey preparations for annual state survey.
  • Customer Service and relationship building.
  • Update facilities notebook with tracking forms.
  • Customer Service and relationship building.
  • Maintain credentials as required by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for an NDTR.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding knowledge of all patient information (HIPAA), confidential staff, and company business.


Required Certification:
Must be a Registered Dietetic Technician.
or
A have four-year degree from an accredited college relevant to the Dietetics and Nutrition area, with the ability to obtain a Verification Statement to sit for the test.
