Childcare Lead Teacher

Qualifications:

·        Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education OR a valid CDA.

·        1-2 years working with infants and toddlers.

·        Enjoy working with infants and toddlers in groups/individually.

·        Ability to successfully work closely with parents and staff.

·        Cooperative team member.

·        Self-motivator.

·        Strong organizational and communication skills.

·        Positive, caring attitude.

·        Computer literate.

·        Familiar with Early Childhood Standards and Benchmarks, preferred.

·        3 semester hours in Infant/Toddler Development, preferred.

·        CPR Certified, preferred.

·        Knowledge of HighScope Curriculum, preferred.

Duties:

·        Primary responsibilities will be working under daily supervision Childcare Director, daily teaching and supervision of children, daily supervision of childcare staff.
