Energy Efficiency and Partnerships Coordinator

The Clean Air Strategies Section works to improve human health and the environment, mainly through non-regulatory channels and partnership programs, and includes staff with duties in air toxics, indoor air quality, climate change, and energy efficiency. The person selected for this position would implement projects related to energy efficiency and clean energy, particularly ENERGY STAR’s programs for industry. They will engage with external partners, including industry and communities, to market CASS services to match their needs and interests. They will provide support for management decisions about what sectors and approaches to prioritize and coordinate technical assistance on energy efficiency issues to state and local governments. They would also perform research and tasks to support air toxics and indoor air quality staff as needed. This position requires a candidate with strong communication, networking, and technical skills who can effectively connect CASS expertise with interests of others within and outside EPA, including businesses, State and local governments, and nonprofit organizations.
