Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

As a Case Aide you will be a part of the Support Team focused on medical care and follow up for clients, assist with administrative duties, provide transportation for clients, and assist Case Managers with a variety of tasks related to client cases.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide transportation to clients to medical appointments, foster homes, and other social agencies.
  • Assist in scheduling medical, dental, and optical appointments for clients.
  • Keep notes regarding interaction and areas of concern during medical visits. Share notes with assigned case manager and relevant parties.
  • Follow up on client care and help ensure the team stays in compliance in relation to timelines.
  • Make phone calls and complete paperwork for case managers as requested.
  • Work with supervisor and other team members to schedule and prioritize work duties.
  • Report transportation problems that impede efficient and timely transportation requests.
  • Attend training as required by supervisor.
  • Assist with file audits and small item purchases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and an ability to follow up and follow through on a multitude of tasks.
  • Ability to relate well and work with clients and co-workers.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a vehicle on behalf of the agency.
  • Maintain a reliable automobile with adequate insurance coverage.
  • Computer and documentation skills sufficient to perform essential functions.
  • Ability to work well independently with high initiative.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement and Cultural Diversity Commitment.

Desired Qualifications:
  •  BSW or BA/BS in human service field.
  • Prior child welfare experience.
