The State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget is currently seeking a Student Assistant.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The DTMB Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives is looking for a new Student Assistant in its Research and Analytics division. The student will contribute to an exciting portfolio of workforce research topics, ranging from identifying the talent needs of the Michigan labor market to evaluating the effectiveness of workforce development programs. As a member of the Research and Analytics team, the Student Assistant will support the Associate Director and Research Analysts by conducting research and analyzing information to help partners and customers gain a better understanding of the Michigan economy and labor market. The student will work closely with internal and external customers to identify needs and will assist in the development of research initiatives to serve these needs. LMISI team members are curious individuals, skilled quantitative analysts, proficient writers, and have a strong sense of public service and desire to serve Michigan.

Required Education and Experience:
 
Education
Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution.
 
Experience
No specific type or amount is required
 
Additional Requirements and Information:
The student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution.
