Student Ministry Intern

Student Ministries Worship Intern

Qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess:
·      Faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior
·      Practices spiritual disciplines to grow in a relationship with Jesus
·      Integrity
·      Passion for middle and high school students
·      Able to work independently and in a team setting
Duties:
·      Actively participate in student ministries youth group (differs based on giftings/skills)
·      Actively participate in weekly NextGen team meetings
·      Opportunities to plan events, service projects, fundraisers etc.
·      Have an opportunity to observe and participate in year long strategic planning/budgeting
·      Other duties as determined by Supervisor based on giftings, areas desired to experience etc. 

Benefits
·      Student will receive a $300.00 stipend at the end of their contract
·      Provide learning experiences so someone can be set up to successfully lead a youth ministry. 
·      Growth opportunities in a variety of area including discipleship, leadership, mentoring, etc.

Hours:
A schedule will be arranged by the intern and Department Coordinator with a minimum of 10 hours per week.
