Summer Intern - Sales Engineering
Students looking for an internship allowing them to blend technical skills with business acumen. We're looking for Sales Engineering Interns that can be a connector between people, technology, and business.
- Preference is for a 3rd year student pursuing a technical degree; or student participating in 5-year MBA program (Engineering undergrad + MBA program)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to present in front of a wide range of audiences
- Passion to learn
- Mobility – Strong need for student to be willing to move for placement within West Division regions
- Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
As a Sales Engineer intern, you'll combine your technical aptitude, exceptional communication skills, and creative problem solving to drive product solutions and sales success. Sales Engineering interns will work alongside other sales engineers, sales teams and product managers to engage with our customers in order to solve their most challenging problems. Sales Engineers work with clients to understand real-world business issues and solve them by building and architecting technology.
- Sales Engineer Interns will get the opportunity to learn network technology, features, solutions and applications.
- Travel to various Comcast West Division regions CA, OR/SWW, WA, UT, NM, CO, TX, MN to shadow various Sales Engineers and sales teams.
- Learn how to conduct discovery sessions with customers to develop communications and networking solutions for them
- Evangelize our network, products and services to customers
- Collaborate with various Comcast teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, etc.)
- Ability to pursue industry certifications
