Attorney General

Selectee will serve under the Supervisory Programs Counsel as a Senior Counsel for DLA Counsel - Land and Maritime in Whitehall, Ohio. Selectee will also serve as a Senior Attorney (non-supervisory) for Programs Team attorneys.

... DLA Human Resources Services, DLA Installation Support Services?Columbus, and other DLA operationalized components located on the MSC installation.
Provides advice and counsel to the MSC Commander, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Manager, senior managers, and supervisors, on all applicable laws, regulations, directives, and policy related to the assigned practice areas.
Senior attorney?s practice areas include all manner of federal employment law, labor law, and administrative law (including the overall functioning of the MSC?s installation). Assignments may also include ethics, fiscal law, and environmental law.
As appropriate, coordinates policy, complex, unusual or precedential matters with DLA Office of Counsel.
Oversees, prepares and tries appeals involving employment and labor relations matters before the Merit Systems Protections Board...,
... the Office of Special Counsel, the Federal Labor Relations Authority, the EEO Commission, arbitrators, and other similar forums.
Assists the Department of Justice and Assistant United States Attorneys in the defense of employment and discrimination cases brought in Federal Court.
Provides legal advice and services on matters of civil law and serves as agency attorney on non-contract/acquisition matters in Federal court.
