The Collection Services Bureau is the centralized collection agency for all overdue assessed taxes administered by the Michigan Department of Treasury and delinquent non-tax debts owed to State agencies, along with the oversight of the Third Party Withholding Program. Our culture is driven by excellent customer service, continuous improvement and engaged employees. The Collection Services Bureau is looking to hire a Bureau Administrator who has excellent leadership, motivational and strategic planning skills with a high ethical standard and a positive disposition. 

This position plans, organizes, directs and controls bureau activities to ensure the uniformity, mission, and accuracy of collection programs, including field operations throughout Michigan, call centers, support operations, and oversight of private collection agency contractors. This position also oversees the third party withholding program which administers the offset of court ordered garnishments. This position directs, supervises and oversees performance of the bureau, provides guidance and solves problems, both technical and administrative; and promotes and maintains an environment conducive to customer service, continuous improvement and employee engagement.
