What does our department do?
The NBA Digital engineering team aligns technology to the priorities that are important to the business. We enable news to be delivered on a global scale through means that include the web, mobile apps, connected devices, feeds, and affiliations. The engineering team’s focus is to make sure that software is optimized and highly available so the business to reach its goals.

What will you be doing?
·        Assist the engineering team develop a new platform
·        Build a presentation layer with React and React Native
·        Interact with data through GraphQL
·        Write front end unit tests
·        Document development workflows
·        Follow the agile development framework
What do we require from you?
·        Imagination
·        Computer science major
·        Solid ability to communicate
·        Some experience cloud-based toolsets
·        Database administration
·        Data access control knowledge

Internship dates are May 26, 2020 – August 7, 2020. All interns are expected to work 40 hours per week and paid competitively based on location (relocation is not provided). Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students. Candidates must be qualified and available to work at the time the application is submitted. Full-time employment is not guaranteed at the end of the program.
