Summary of Job Description
The IT Project Manager’s role is to make sure all computer systems are functioning properly, and any technical issues are resolved in a timely manner. Ensure all hardware and software is operating effectively including network connectivity. Lead projects for hardware and software upgrades, including ERP, CRM, phone, network and other systems. Be a business partner with the organization.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Manage all hardware needs for computers, phones, servers and other devices
§ Install and configure new computers and software
§ Responsible for company’s IT network and ensuring accessibility, uptime and proper internal controls
§ Manage all outside IT resources (consultants, phones, printers, copiers, etc.)
§ Ensure technology strategy is adequate for the business
§ Ensure all software is up to date and compliant
§ Lead and implement various technology projects (CRM, ERP, Phone Systems, Digital Filing Systems, etc.)
§ Ensure proper controls exist regarding system security and back-ups
§ Identify technological risks and implement solutions to mitigate them
§ Assist users with Engineering Software when questions or problems arise
§ Technical leader of company web site. Trouble shoots issues and conducts minor updates.
§ Write software for various engineering and manufacturing activities. This will include workflow automation, laser operation and creating analytical programs.
§ Assist with inventory process at end of year
 
 
MANAGEMENT/LEADERSHIP:
§ Lead all IT related projects, communicate status and results across the organization. Motivate project team, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role with all projects.
§ Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, independently and within budget.
§ Experience solving complex problems.
§ Ability to manage 3rd party consultants and resources
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required
§ Experience with Great Plains ERP system desired
§ Experience managing technology solutions, digital and/or mobile projects, preferably in a consulting, traditional agency or digital technology platform environment desired.
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ Excellent organizational and time management skills
§ Microsoft Project, JIRA, Visio and MS Office skills required
§ Desired experience includes; Visual Studio, VB.net, C Sharp, C++, Java, SQL
§ Networking and Infrastructure: Windows NT4 to current, Windows Server, SQL Server, Computer Hardware Repair, Printer Repair, Computer Help Desk, Network Backup
