After Hours Crisis Worker
AFTER HOURS CRISIS WORKER: Allegan County Community Mental Health is seeking a culturally diverse minded individual to fill a full time* Crisis Worker position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or substance use disorders, and for children with serious emotional disturbances is required;
- Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work (LMSW/LLMSW), Professional Counselor (LLPC/LPC) or LLP and be licensed in the State of Michigan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention services;
- Provide face-to-face crisis intervention and evaluation for hospitalization in the community (hospital emergency rooms, jails)
- May be responsible for facilitating hospitalization.
*The schedule for this position is as follows: Monday – Thursday 1:00pm until 10:00pm. Friday 1:00 until 5:00pm. NOTE: office hours will be 1:00pm-5:00pm daily then on call from 5:00pm until 10:00pm.
