RN-Registered Nurse - Orthopedics Unit - Full-Time, Night - Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus - Warren,MI
72 hours per pay period / 7 pm - 7 am / Every other weekend and rotating holidays
New graduate RNs are welcome to apply! Offers will be made pending completion of NCLEX exam and start dates based on issuance of Michigan RN licensure.
5 East is a brand new, state-of-the-art, 20 bed inpatient unit that specializes in elective orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. Our main populations include patients having a total joint replacement or spinal surgery. We also care for patients requiring surgery for traumatic injury (ex. femur fracture) and neurosurgical interventions (ex. craniotomy). Our mission is to create a holistic, person-centered, healing environment to facilitate the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.
Orientation:
Newly hired RNs will attend a 5-day (8 am - 4:30 pm) orientation session at our Regional Onboarding Center in Warren. Our program blends experiential learning, skills training, and engaging educational content to develop highly competent and confident nurses. After your initial week of orientation, your individualized and comprehensive orientation will begin on the unit.
