Director of Differentiation and Early Childhood

This positions will be for the 2020-2021 school year.  
 
The purpose of the position of Director of the Differentiation and Early Childhood is to plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations related to differentiation and early childhood within the school district; to coordinate assigned activities with other district divisions and Curriculum and Instruction (C & I) departments, schools, and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Executive Directors and Associate Superintendent of C & I.
 
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and/or Education Administration
  • Formal training in Supervision
  • Five years of responsible teaching experience, preferably at elementary and/or secondary levels, and experience at aligning curriculum using various methods
  • Three to five years of school principal experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in developing curriculum and programming related to a career academy framework
Salary: 
Salary range based on education and experience.  $96,718.65-$114,218.65

Administrator positions at NCSD are fiscal year day employees. Leave benefits include, 30 days paid annual vacation with an option to get 10 days paid out per year at your daily rate of pay, 12 paid holidays and sick leave.
