Wildlife Rehabilitation Internships

Wolf Hollow is offering 8 Wildlife Rehabilitation internships, each of ~ 9 weeks duration, during the May to October period 2020.

Interns work 40 hours/week. These positions are unpaid, but on-site accommodation is provided.

These internships provide the opportunity to learn feeding, handling and care techniques for a wide range of injured and orphaned wildlife, with the aim of releasing them back into the wild.

Interns are trained by our experienced rehab staff, and perform a range of duties including diet preparation, feeding, animal handling, cleaning and setting up enclosures. They have the opportunity to observe intake exams and treatments and are involved in releasing animals back into the wild.

Applicants should be 18 or over and demonstrate a genuine interest in working with wildlife. Previous animal care experience is an advantage.
