Crownee Cancer Advocate | Henna Crowns of Courage

Your role would be as an advocate to women and families who are part of our program battling with cancer. You will be asked to stay in communication with the women who have been crowned and contact them with extra help and resources to have the best support possible.

Role Includes:

1.) Creating a log of information on each women's profile

2.) Contacting each women personally every couple months to get an update

3.) Staying in communication with women through private Facebook page

4.) Reaching out to local restaurants/venues/businesses and organizations who would offer gifts/discounts or support to the women part of our program. (Example, this could be discount to work with a nutritionalist in town... or a free sample of organic food product... or a first time free massage to acupuncture.... or a discount to a family fun park... or tickets to an event.

5.) Create a monthly gathering for these women to connect and hang out at. (Find sponsors who can offer healthy vegan food, venue, music, workshops)

6.) Create volunteer opportunities for locals to support (Gift baskets, visits to hospital, volunteers who will sit with women as they get treatment)

7.) Help create fundraising events
