Crosswinds Licensed Therapist

Crosswinds Counseling was created to provide families with the resources and options they need to overcome struggles. Our mission is to change hearts and bring hope to individuals, families, and communities.

Crosswinds, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a faith-based organization, rooted in strong Christian values, that was created to bring hope to individuals, families, couples, and struggling teens. Our goal is to help you find the solutions needed to reclaim, restore and rebuild.
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families of various ages with various presenting problems
  • Provide counseling services in the client’s home, in our agency office, or web-based using our telehealth platform
  • Facilitate competent counseling services from a faith-based perspective
  • Utilize evidence-based treatments in counseling
  • Completion of accurate, timely documentation of 1) all contacts with clients, 2) integrative summaries and treatment plans, and 3) reports for clients (as needed)
  • Value multiculturalism and diversity and integrate it into client conceptualization and treatment
  • Demonstrate respect for client’s sociocultural values, personal goals, and lifestyle choices, and deliver services in a culturally competent fashion
  • Maintain strict confidentiality to protect client’s privacy
  • Attend required staff meetings and clinical workshops
  • Meet with Supervised Therapist Team and Director of Operations on a regular basis for support and training
  • Be willing to provide supervision to staff who are unlicensed
  • Review and sign off on supervisees’ documentation in a timely manner
  • Present psychoeducational seminars/workshops to staff and/or groups in the community (e.g., anxiety, suicide prevention, parenting, marriages
Qualifications:
• Hold a clinical license in the state of Indiana (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, HSPP)
• Have an understanding of integrating the Christian faith in counseling clients
• Belief in the family preservation philosophy
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
