Google Collaboration Technical Analyst
FUNCTION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Google Collaboration Technical Analyst to join the Global Information Systems (GIS) Winning Workplace (WW) team. This exciting role plays an integral part of enabling and empowering Whirlpool Corp. employees with the tools and technology that they need in order to deliver breakthrough results at work. In this role, you will design, test, and deploy technical solutions that work with our cutting-edge Cloud portfolio, focusing on Google GSuite and SaaS software tools. While the focus of this role is on technology, a strong understanding of business acumen is required. You will work closely with business partners to understand and translate their requirements into functional, technical solutions, using an Agile approach.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead projects and technical implementations of scripting and SaaS tools
- Assist in managing the SaaS portfolio from a technical standpoint, focusing on end user capabilities and
- understanding new releases and opportunities
- Design, analyze and implement efficient technology solutions, following Agile and iterative design processes
- Stay current in ‘Best in Practice’ enterprise workplace IT tools, innovations, ideas, and designs
- Collaborate with business teams and outside vendors to fulfill requirements and execute work
- Support our employees with “how-to” type questions, both on end user capabilities as well as advanced
- scripting needs
- Work and collaborate with Whirlpool’s Global WW regional teams and outside vendors supporting WW IT efforts
- Serve as contact point for various WW activities under the broader scope of the team
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science
- Full-time work or internship experience in a corporate environment
- Professional experience with Google Suite Tools
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic understanding of and experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Google Apps Script
- Java or Python and SQL understanding and experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as vendor partners
- Passion for technology and analysis to execution work in the corporate environment
- Self-directed problem-solving skills demonstrating an ability to make high quality judgement decisions
