Recruiting and Marketing Internship

It is a broker/dealer and the retail distribution channel for AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, NY, NY which provides life insurance, annuities and other needs-based products and services for the financial services market.

· Provide support to internal staff responsible for recruiting financial sales professionals to AXA Advisors local branch office

· Post jobs to external posting sites on the Internet

· Do internet searches, identify candidates, screen resumes

· Handle telephone screens and schedule interviews

· Research and identify various new and innovative recruiting sources

· Track activity, maintain accurate records and files on candidates

· Assist recruiters in the facilitation of new hire paperwork

· Follow up on recruiting leads and employee referrals

· Send approved letters/responses and communications to candidates

 

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Interest in Human Resources, Finance or Recruiting

· Highly organized, thorough and detail-oriented

· Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple tasks

· Strong computer skills

· Exhibit high level of professionalism, particularly on the telephone
