Virtual Internship- Communications for a better world: public diplomacy to counter propaganda & violent extremism

The Global Engagement Center (GEC) at the U.S. Department of State is looking for exceptional, hardworking, reliable, and well-organized graduate students (& highly qualified undergraduates) to track and summarize academic and think-tank research and social media (among other learning and engagement opportunities) to help our broad international communications efforts. You will be working with GEC staff & other virtual interns to ensure that our efforts are informed by cutting edge research and analysis. The GEC is an innovative and agile inter-agency office with the mandate to counter international terrorist and state-sponsored propaganda and disinformation. We work with other State Department bureaus, U.S. government partners, and international and domestic NGOs to counter those who use violence, propaganda, and disinformation as a tool for change. Join the most rewarding e-internship out there!
