Student Ministry Intern

Student Ministries Internship
 
Qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess:
  • faith in Jesus Christ
  • integrity
  • respect and appreciation for volunteers and colleagues
  • able to work independently and in a team setting
  • detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • passion for students and desire to make an impact on middle school and high school students.
  • available on Sunday mornings at evenings
Duties:
  • actively participate in weekly student ministries programming
  • attend weekly student ministry team meetings
  • mentor/disciple middle school and/or high school students
  • arrive on time to scheduled activities, meetings and events as determined with the student ministry director
  • other duties and expectations will be determined based on intern’s giftings and desires and established by the student ministries director.

Hours:
  • A schedule will be arranged by the intern and Department Coordinator with a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Kentwood Community Church was founded in 1979 in the Wesleyan tradition. The mission can be simplified to reaching out and raising up and the vision to Reach, Engage, Awaken and Launch.
