POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological evaluations of children receiving services. This includes administration and interpretation of psychometric instruments.

The ideal candidate for this role will have very open-minded tactics that reflects societal competency and sensitivity to the distinctive needs of our diverse client population. They must have the ability to engage and maintain clinical relationships with families, develop collaborative relationships with other providers, effective interpersonal skills, and the willingness to be flexible, patient and creative with their clinical practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have at least a Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
· Must have and retain a valid TLLP or LLP in Psychology with the State of Michigan and at least 9-12 months of experience in the area(s) of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required.
· Must have at least one year of experience in the examination/evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents.
· Must have MDHHS Central Registry and Police Clearance.
· Required to have experience testing instruments ADOS-II, ADIR and DD-CGAS.
· Experience in Diagnosing ASD
This independent contractor role will require flexibility to work daytime and occasional evening hours. Hours may be adjusted due to client’s needs. Hourly rate is based on educational and work experience.
