Summer Camp Counselor and Activity Instructor

Are you interested in making a difference this summer, being a part of an amazing community? We're looking for camp staff who enjoy working with kids for our cabin counselor and activity instructor jobs.

North Star Camp is a residential boys summer camp in Northern Wisconsin. Founded in 1945 we've been providing meaningful summer experiences for kids from all over the US. We provide a diverse program with athletics, watersports, arts and adventure activities as well as a top notch wilderness trip program. Each summer we hire approximately 90 staff from all over the US and abroad.

North Star pays a very competitive summer salary, reimburses for travel expenses and will also pay to put staffers through various certification courses.

All candidates are subject to a background check. We are a smoke free environment and all staff members must be able to pass a drug screening at the start of the summer.

As a counselor, you will serve as a mentor and role model for a cabin group of our campers. Each cabin group consists of three or four counselors and 8-12 boys. Your group will become a family as you go through the ups (and downs) of the summer.

Our counselors also serve as recreational activity instructors. You'll be able to utilize your skills and expertise to help our campers develop their skills in many of our activities. Program areas where we're looking for instructors include:
