General Intern - Indianapolis

Starting in May of 2019, Old National has an opportunity for a General Internship Position. Old National is seeking individuals who are driven, self-starters, who are focused on serving others and solving problems. 
 
General Interns will gain exposure to various bank disciplines through the execution of value-adding projects in several departments of the bank. Day-to-day roles and responsibilities may vary based on the department needs but will generally consist of project-planning, intern team meetings, project discussions with various Old National associates, leadership and professional development sessions and more. General interns will be responsible for assisting with several initiatives to improve processes and implement efficiencies within Old National Bank. This internship opportunity is designed to be both educational and practical, giving interns the chance to apply skills and abilities learned in the classroom in a professional setting. Additionally, there will be a focus on the leadership and personal development of each intern in the program. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Project Management
  • Regular meetings with internship cohort and the internship manager
  • Support of other functions as assigned
 
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Either a full-time student, enrolled in a degree seeking undergraduate or Masters program at an accredited academic institution or a May 2019 graduate
  • Strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth
  • Outstanding performance and an aptitude for learning
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Team players with the ability and willingness to multitask and help other team members as required
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Interest, and preferably experience, in financial services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
 
Hours:
Approximately 34 hours per week. Hourly paid position. 

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
 
Internship Duration: May 20th – July 31st
