Valencia College is seeking a visionary and strategic Director, Application Programming Services to join our dedicated Enterprise Application Services Team. In this role you will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of college-wide application systems, interfaces and related software applications. You will direct all activities related to the programming and implementation of college-wide information systems and software applications, as well as, been responsible for maintaining, supporting and upgrading existing systems and applications and related interfaces.

The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience [required]
- Strong computer programming and logic skills, including and PL/SQL programming in an Oracle environment [required]
- Previous management or supervisory experience [required]
- Experience in maintaining application systems in a large enterprise environment that are secure, stable and operate at optimal performance
- Proven track record in developing and implementing application and programming solutions and supervising others with strong project management skill
- Ellucian experience in a Higher Education environment
- Knowledge and/or applied skills and abilities in the following areas are preferred:

Department: Application Development
Salary: $65,857 - $90,000 per year
