Location: Ft. Myers, FL – United States

The 2-4 year Gartner Services Rotational Development (SRD) program provides a unique opportunity for a small number of highly talented individuals to gain exposure to several functions to jumpstart a career leading services teams. Through challenging rotations, SRDs will develop well rounded skills and an understanding of the interdependencies in all aspects of services. This includes service domain expertise, people leadership, change project leadership, and services strategy and operations. SRDs are expected to learn rapidly in order to take increasing responsibility and independence with each assignment. Other rotations involve solving operational effectiveness problems as part an operations team. Rotations then place the SRD in a client-facing service territory. In the later stages, the SRD may coach and mentor others. Others may lead complex change programs. SRDs also gain exposure to several senior business leaders who have diverse varied backgrounds and styles. As a result of this program, SRDs will develop a network of contacts and relationships throughout the organization. 

You’ll be successful in the Services Rotational Development role if you have a passion for client service, a desire to build the skills to lead teams within a few years, apply facts and logic to solve tough analytic problems, work well in teams, and communicate clearly and effectively. A passion for personal development and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively is a must for this role since you will be expected to act on feedback and rapidly develop business skills and leadership traits. Upon successful completion of this program, associates will be integrated into our organization with a greater understanding of Gartner and the technology industry.

Responsibilities:             
·        Surface insights and streamline repeat activities using data visualization utilizing tools such as Power BI
·        Apply data mining techniques, perform statistical analysis, and build high quality prediction systems utilizing tools such as Python and R
·        Utilize both quantitative and qualitative advanced analytics techniques to analyse data, problem solve and find solutions that help our clients make the right decisions. 
·        Play a client service role while identifying opportunities to improve the role and client experience (e.g., onboarding clients to the service)
·        Team with service professionals to handle the most difficult situations to ensure we deliver significant value to clients
·        Structure change programs and execute on them to influence colleagues to take action
·        Collect feedback to write a roadmap for IT development of an application or tool
·        Apprentice a service role in a client-facing territory, typically for over a year; begin coaching others

Job requirements:
·        Bachelor’s degree with a specialty in either Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
·        Passion for client service and team leadership
·        Proven track record of excellence, fueled by critical thinking, analytic, and communications skills
·        Technology background is welcomed, but not required.
