Hourly Rate: $12.00-$13.00 per hr., based on prior experience

Part-time caregiver needed for 45 year old male who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. He is able to clearly communicate verbally, use a laptop, operate electronic controls, etc. He is a father of five children, has a great sense of humor and loves music and sports.
Requirements:
Applicants must be physically capable of independently bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing a 6’5”, 190 pound man who is unable to roll over, sit without assistance or stand.
Qualifications:
Must complete training in CPR, Blood-Borne Pathogens and basic first aid (provided by employer) or provide evidence that they’ve already completed all essential training.
Essential Functions involve performing personal care activities, including but not limited to:
Daily range of motion stretches & exercises
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Dressing
Skin Care
Operate a Hoyer Lift (will train)
Perform household services essential to health care at home, including but not limited to:
Meal preparation/feeding/clean-up
Laundry & Light housekeeping
Grocery shopping/doctor appts/recreational activities
While all or most of these responsibilities must be performed daily there is still plenty of time to take walks, play games, go to a movie or to the beach, attend a sporting event, etc.
