Remote Grant Writer and Researcher Intern

If you have a passion for advocating for mothers and children to receive the best healthcare possible after birth and you have a great command of the English language, then we are looking for someone like you.

We are looking to expand your experience and portfolio through an unpaid, remote internship with us.

Requirements:
Must have taken a grant writing course.
Must be at least a junior.
Ability to understand the needs of both our agency and the organization that is offering the grant money.
Great organizational skills
Being able to understand and execute complex instructions
Outstanding computer skills
Must be in the continental US.
Must be able to have a strong connection to the internet and phone between 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri.
Must be able to work independently.
Must know how to use google programs.
Must have access to a webcam or be able to video chat in some way.

Responsibilities:
Work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week remotely and track your time via a time management software.
Research for and make daily progress on finding and brainstorming for the grant writing process.
Collaborate with the founders of the organization and the intern supervisor about the status and needs and information you need via Google Docs and other programs.
Communicate via video chat with founders and supervisor once a week for a weekly reconnect.
Communicate daily via a quick phone call/text conversation with the intern supervisor about your work at the end of your workday.
