Quality Engineering Intern

Our Quality Department is looking for a hardworking and driven individual to join our team as a Quality Engineer Intern. We are looking for someone interested in helping our company as a whole by assisting where necessary to insure the company’s profitable future and success. 

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Assists Quality Engineers in development of the procedures, process instructions, and systems necessary to assure product quality.

2. Audits manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Quality Management System documentation.

3. Supports Engineers in reporting on Quality Performance.

4. Be trained as an internal auditor, conduct internal audits. Control and maintain master index and master log book.

5. Enter data from control charts. Report problems to the correct departments for corrective action.

6. Assist with development of control plans, reference drawing, surface appearance drawings, and inspection forms.

7. Employee may be required to perform testing to specified lab work instructions.

8. Other various tasks as assigned.

 

Skills:

 

1. Excellent computer skills. Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

3. Detail Oriented

 

Preferred Experience:

1. One year of work experience in a computer related field

2. One year of related work experience creating spreadsheets, presentations and documentations using Microsoft products

3. Knowledge of Quality management systems used in the automotive industry supply chain.

4. Familiar with the Quality Core Tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP.

 

Education:

Recent graduates OR junior/senior pursuing bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
