POSITION AVAILABLE:
Agriscience and Natural Resources Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Must have earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Agriscience or Agriscience and Natural Resources or a related field.
 Must possess or be eligible for a valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with an occupational (vocational) endorsement.
 Endorsement Required
o HX – Agriscience and Natural Resources
o VA – Vocational Agriculture (Agriscience and Natural Resources)
 Must meet Federal Highly Qualified Teacher requirements.
 Must have an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 Experience with youth leadership and the FFA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; teaching course related to agriculture, natural resources, environmental, and agribusiness, supervising the FFA chapter and related activities, extended program activities, and conventions.
COMPENSATION:
According to the negotiated Master Agreement with the Breckenridge Education Association
