Metrology Associate - Equipment Compliance

Job Summary
 
We are seeking a Metrology Associate for our Equipment Compliance Team located in Mattawan, MI.
 
Metrology Associate is responsible for handling documentation for instrument maintenance, receiving, shipping, and qualifications. The individual in this role performs minor repairs, calibrations, data reviews, and assists with implementing the company’s water analysis program. Qualifications include a working knowledge of the company’s document management and instrument-related systems and applications required to perform daily tasks.
 
The following are minimum requirements related to the Metrology Associate position.
 
  •  HS/GED with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; contract research organization experience preferred.
  •  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; contract research organization experience preferred.
  •  Demonstrated ability to schedule time to get work done efficiently and to work independently and be an effective team member.
  •  Demonstrated working knowledge of systems required to perform daily tasks (e.g. QAAD, Nextdocs, ExyLIMS, eDocs, etc.)
  •  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
  •  Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  •  Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system.
  •  Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice.
  •  Ability to work under specific time constraints.
