Program Manager

The YWCA West Central Michigan, an organization committed to eliminating racism, empowering women and girls and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all, is seeking a full-time Program Manager for our supervised visitation program, Safe Connections.

General Summary of Responsibilities

Under supervision, provides program management and supervision for all direct service visitation monitors, case managers and volunteers within Safe Connections, the supervised visitation program. Has primary responsibility in managing daily operations, conducting assessment interviews, preparing court and funder reports, monitoring parenting time sessions, and ensuring that programming and staff meet quality assurance standards. This is a full time position that does require some evening hours.
 
Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in human service or related field from an accredited university or the equivalent in work and life experience. Specific training in child sexual abuse, family therapy, domestic violence, or sexual assault is highly desired. Demonstrated capacity to manage client data and complex schedules is required. Ability to express self efficiently and professionally in written and oral formats that lead to court-ready reports and court testimony is a must. Ability to provide services to consumers fluently in both Spanish and English is highly desired. Two years (may include internships) of direct, human service experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a willingness to work from a team perspective in service provision. Capacity to utilize computers to manage schedules, generate reports and participate in electronic record-keeping
