Non-Career Wildlife Assistant 6 - Grayling

The primary focus will be assisting with the collection of biological data through deer check station activities. As time permits may assist with the development and maintenance of wildlife habitat on Wildlife areas and improvement of wildlife habitat on other State private or Federal lands. These jobs are accomplished through intensive farming practices and by means of cuttings and clearings, water level manipulation in impoundments, and use of light equipment. May assist as needed with other management unit responsibilities, including wildlife surveys, nuisance animal control and equipment maintenance.
