Quality Engineer Intern

Roles and Responsibilities:
The intern in this role will support the transfer of enzyme manufacturing from an existing site into a brand new facility.   You will work with a variety of departments including Quality Assurance, Facilities, Engineering, and enzyme manufacturing.  Duties for the position will include:

  • Assisting with project move plan  
  • Disposition equipment moved between facilities
  • Tracking project plan deliverables
  • Reviewing and writing reports for relocated equipment
  • Assisting with the move plan report
  • Decommissioning equipment in the existing facility
Qualification and Requirements:

  • Rising Junior/Senior or graduation Senior in a Bachelors program, with a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Engineering or Science background preferred
  • Experience with project management or logistics a plus but not required.

Top candidates will move to our video interviewing platform as first step, in mid-November.  Those selected for next steps will be contacted for a technical phone interview; the phone interview will be scheduled for early December.  As the last step, final intern candidates will be invited to interview onsite at Illumina.
The iAspire program only supports F-1 visa status; no other visa types are eligible.  F-1 students must have at least 3 months of CPT or OPT eligibility to participate.
