Media Production Internship Opportunity

Internship Title: Non-Clinical Intern

Internship Description: As a part of the assigned Parkview Health department, this position will engage in experiential learning through selected department activities. Will be responsible for supporting department functions, assisting with special projects, and applying academic knowledge to the daily activities. Collaboratively works with team members to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels of engagement, as necessary.

·      Applying academic knowledge to the daily activities
Learning Outcomes: This student will be introduced to the many educational teams and personnel throughout the Parkview Health System, collaborating on producing educational materials, and experience how each team contributes to the mission and vision of Parkview Health. This student will gain experience in most areas of Media Production and hopefully the experience will guide them to a media or education specialty. The intern will:
·      Media Production: Operate cameras and sound recording equipment in the studio and on location in the various Parkview Hospitals. Gain experience editing projects and the various methods of distribution
·      Project Coordination: attend input sessions, interpret requests for services, scheduling, client previews, and providing excellent customer service
·      Equipment and Studio Management: Always being prepared for the next assignment or project by having the equipment put away, batteries charged, recording media available, etc. 
Qualifications:
·      Required:
o  Must be a undergraduate college student
o  Must be pursuing a degree in Media Services, Graphic Design, or other related program
