Job Title: Summer Internships with DJ&A — Multiple Disciplines

Location(s): Missoula, MT · Bozeman, MT · Vancouver, WA · Lakewood, CO · Albuquerque, NM

Job Type: Internship, Seasonal (Summer)

Description:

DJ&A is excited to offer a variety of summer internship opportunities for students who want to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and learn more about the work we do and the clients we serve. Interns spend the summer gaining relevant experience on real projects within the consulting industry, in a supportive and exciting environment.

We're hiring interns across all of our primary discipline areas:

  • Engineering Internship (Civil & Structural) — application window closes October 23, 2026
  • Natural Resources Planning Internship — application window closes January 31, 2027
  • Road Inventory Technician Internship (Woodland Solutions Group / GIS & field data) — application window closes January 31, 2027
  • Landscape Architecture Internship — application window closes January 31, 2027
  • Survey Internship — application window closes January 31, 2027
  • Business Development and Marketing Internship — application window closes January 31, 2027

"Last summer, DJ&A offered me an internship out of their office in Vancouver, WA. They enabled me to travel to a new city and state, all while providing an excellent internship. I was able to hone industry-specific skills in AutoCAD, gain hands-on experience working in the field, and to talk to professionals throughout the company. At the end of the internship, I left with applicable skills, a better understanding of the civil engineering industry, and ultimately a full-time job as a Design Engineer and Construction Inspector at DJ&A's Missoula office after graduating!"
