Ophthalmic Scribe Technician
Alliance Retina of Texas is a specialized ophthalmology practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (specifically Arlington, Fort Worth-Alliance, and Decatur), focused on the medical and surgical management of retinal diseases. We are inclusive and engaging, and our goal is to bring back traditional patient focused care.
We are looking for full-time Ophthalmic Scribes/ Technicians for our practice to work closely with our two wonderful doctors. The ideal candidate would be dependable and energetic with a positive attitude and a passion for caring for others. This is a great career building opportunity for aspiring individuals. Prior employees went on to enter medical school!
Candidate must be willing to travel to our locations in North Arlington, North Fort Worth, and Decatur.
Job responsibilities (willing to train candidates):
- Scribe for doctor
- Learn and perform a standard ophthalmic technician work up
- Learn and perform basic ophthalmic testing (OCT, etc)
- Ensure quality of care and safety of patients
- Properly assist physically and visually impaired patients
- Assist in administrative duties
- Accept other duties as assigned
Qualified applicants will exhibit the following:
- Proficient in computer skills: can work PC/mouse, type, Word, Outlook
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
