SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Intern - Business Development Analyst, you will assist the Business Development and Analytics teams with market and channel research, funnel development projects, and sales analysis while gaining exposure to Sales, Business Development, and Marketing fundamentals.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Market and Channel Analysis
• Identify vertical market targets
• Complete regional market gap analysis• Complete channel assessments - Funnel Development and Marketing Support
• Assist with funnel integration
• Coordinate with Marketing to develop playbook for target verticals
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience
• Strong interest in the fields of Sales and Marketing• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Tables
• Comfortable working in an environment with rapidly changing deadlines, workloads, and goals
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Educational background in analysis
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to Power BI and other visualization tools• Detail-oriented approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education & Certifications
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s program majoring in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3.0/4.0 GPA or better
