Onsite HR Coordinator
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Onsite HR Coordinator to work at our facility in Muscatine, IA. This position provides administrative support to the Plant Human Resources department and supports day-to-day administration and execution of HR policies, programs, and procedures within the factory.
The HR Coordinator may support one or more of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, recruiting, and benefits administration.
Job Overview
This role provides support to the HR team and employees on HR processes, including:
- Workforce planning, organizational change/effectiveness, and implementation of process improvement (including change initiatives, planning, and facilitation)
- Administration of employee benefits, including employee enrollment, changes, reports, and troubleshooting
- Recruitment and selection, including conducting interviews, performing background checks, new hire paperwork and orientation, E-Verify, etc.
- Maintaining employee and applicant documentation as required by KraftHeinz policy and governing agencies
- Facilitating training, including new hire orientation and standard compliance training
- Administering HR processes including (but not limited to) onboarding, 30/60/110 day reviews, I-9s, and other required processes
- Data maintenance for all hourly employees in Workday and employee files
- Assisting in championing employee wellness initiatives through activities, education, and awareness
- Participating in the QRMP yearly audit and assisting in development of procedures and corrective actions
- Performing administrative office duties, including assistance with meeting preparation and facilitating committees for employee functions
- Planning, directing, facilitating, and implementing employee training for current employees and new hires
- Coordinating and managing employee engagement and communication plans and activities
- Assisting the Hourly Labor Scheduler with maintaining hourly union schedules, vacations, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from college or technical school preferred; OR High School diploma/GED equivalent and one to three years Human Resource related experience is required
- Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred
- Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential materials in a professional manner
- Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in both a fast-paced office and/or plant setting
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to identify and solve problems

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm
- Start times can slightly vary
- Must be able to work overtime when needed
