Resident Care Assistant
Assisting Residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, hair care, mouth care, nail care, dressing, ambulation (which includes reminding and supporting). Assisting Residents with turning, repositioning, toileting, and personal hygiene (including monitoring of bowel and bladder incontinence). Observe and report Resident behavior and condition changes, including weight change and signs of neglect. assist with all aspects of the kitchen and dining room task associated with resident meal, including prep work, serving, cleaning up, setting tables, taking out trash, etc.
Responsible for reviewing medication records on a daily basis, check MAR for accuracy. Administer prescribed medications as ordered. Document medication administration according to policy.
Interact with families and participate in facility and community activities. assist with ensuring a safe environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
Must be Caring, Compassionate, Punctual, Reliable, Team Player, etc. Must be willing to work with Residents who have dementia and/or other Mental handicaps/disabilities and/or physical handicaps/disabilities/limitations.
