Behavior Technician

We’re hiring part-time positions (10–20 hours per week) in the San Fernando Valley area with the ability to grow to full-time once schools are back in session. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference while gaining hands-on, real-world experience supporting clients in their home settings. đź’Ľ Part-Time to Start (10 - 20 hours/week)
💰 Pay Range: $19.50 – $25.13/hr*
*Based on experience, education, certifications, and second language use (50%+ of the time)

🎯What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct care to clients 
  • Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans

đź“‹ Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Access to a mobile phone (for email) and basic internet (if working offsite)
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with minimum 25/50k liability coverage
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations
  • Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
  • Current TB Test 
  • CPR/First Aid Certification

🌍 Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

  • Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
  • Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
  • Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
  • Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
