Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that impact real business operations. You'll work closely with Finance leadership to support key initiatives while building practical skills in a fast-paced retail environment. This internship combines project ownership with real-world exposure to day-to-day operations within the Finance team.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Headquarters

Pay: $15.00/hour for Bachelor's Program, $21.00/hour for Master's Program

Hours: 30–40 hours/week

Dates of Internship: August – December 2026

Key Project You'll Support: 

Site Attributes Stewardship

  • Analyze and improve the quality of finance site attribute data to support accurate business reporting.
  • Review existing site attributes and identify opportunities to streamline and retire unused data.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define data ownership, governance standards, and maintenance procedures.
  • Develop training materials and support users responsible for maintaining site attribute data.
  • Recommend and help implement a recurring process to ensure ongoing data accuracy and governance.
  • Present project findings, recommendations, and outcomes to Finance leadership at the conclusion of the internship

Additional Hands-On Exposure: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and data governance.
  • Learn how enterprise data supports financial reporting and operational decision-making.
  • Participate in data analysis, process documentation, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Gain experience creating user documentation and supporting end-user training.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance organization.

Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Utah, as this is an on-site opportunity based at our headquarters.
  • A full-time college student who has completed their sophomore year by the start of the internship.
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
