About us

We run two mission-driven ventures. Radiation Cancer Compensation helps families claim the federal compensation they are owed for radiation-caused cancer before a hard 2027 deadline. Life Legacy Studios produces legacy documentaries that preserve families' stories for future generations. Both are founder-led and moving fast, and you would work directly with the founders.

The role in one line

Find us free money. You will hunt down grants, pitch competitions, accelerators, and awards, keep us ahead of every deadline, and help us actually win them.

What you will do

  • Build and own a living pipeline of every grant, pitch competition, startup award, and accelerator we could qualify for, with eligibility, prize amount, and deadline for each.
  • - Maintain a deadline calendar so we never miss a submission.
  • - Research eligibility carefully and flag which opportunities a for-profit can actually apply for, versus those needing a nonprofit or fiscal sponsor.
  • - Draft grant applications and competition entries, and prep pitch decks and one-pagers with the founders.
  • - Track every submission and its outcome, and report the pipeline weekly.
  • - For Life Legacy Studios, research documentary and arts funding and the fiscal-sponsorship path that unlocks it.

What you will learn

  • How non-dilutive fundraising actually works: grants, competitions, and accelerators.
  • - Grant and proposal writing from research to submission.
  • - Pitch development and startup finance, working directly with two founders.
  • - Opportunity research, deadline management, and pipeline ownership you can put on a resume.

Who we are looking for

  • A strong writer and a sharp researcher who is organized and self-directed.
  • - Someone who chases deadlines instead of missing them.
  • - Comfortable working independently and reporting progress weekly.
  • - Majors we love: business, entrepreneurship, communications, English, pre-law, public administration or nonprofit management, and film or media for the Life Legacy side. All majors welcome if the skills fit.

The details

  • Unpaid internship, eligible for academic credit. We will work with your school to set up credit as needed.
  • - 20 hours per week, flexible schedule.
  • - Fully remote, anywhere in the United States.
  • - About a 12 to 16 week term, with the possibility of a paid or expanded role for top performers.
  • - Two positions open.
