Philanthropic Advisory & Operations Intern
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours
The Philanthropic Advisory & Operations Intern will support client accounts and assist with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to philanthropic advisory work, foundation operations, and nonprofit support, and is ideal for students interested in philanthropy, nonprofit management, social media management and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management of client foundation accounts
- Manage and create content for social media platforms
- Assist with expense reports, reimbursements, and basic expense tracking
- Help prepare, organize, and process invoices
- Maintain organized digital files and client records
- Assist with data entry, spreadsheets, and document preparation
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the team
- Assist with scheduling, communications, and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student (business, finance, nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or related field preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Canva/ Beautiful ai) and Outlook (SharePoint a plus)
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong command of AI and its capabilities, including the ability to set up agents
